I am a political economy and comparative politics researcher with a strong quantitative background. I hold a Master’s in Applied Economics from ITAM and a BA in Economics from San Diego State University, and I use causal inference, applied econometrics, and large administrative and survey data to study how institutions, industrial and development policies, and public programs shape inequality and socioeconomic well-being, particularly in Latin America.
As a researcher, I seek to understand the political and institutional mechanisms that sustain poverty and inequality, particularly in poorer and marginalized regions, and to generate evidence that can support more inclusive and equitable public policy.
Within my webpage you can find my CV and my curren research.
